Common Questions

How does the health score work?

Yuzli rates each product from 0 to 100 by weighing its nutrition, the additives in its ingredient list, and how natural (e.g. organic) it is. A higher score means a cleaner, more nutritious product.

A product's information looks wrong

Much of our product data comes from the community-maintained Open Food Facts database. If a product's details are inaccurate, you can help improve them directly on Open Food Facts, and the correction will flow back into Yuzli. You can also email us and we'll take a look.

The scanner can't read a label

Make sure the label is well lit, flat, and fully inside the frame. If a barcode won't scan, you can capture the nutrition label instead and Yuzli will read it directly.

Allergen warnings

Yuzli flags allergens based on available ingredient data, which may be incomplete. Always confirm against the physical packaging before consuming a product — never rely on Yuzli alone to avoid an allergen.

Delete my account and data

You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app under Settings. If you have trouble, email us at hello@yuzli.com and we'll remove your data.
